The problem with these movies is that it appears that Burton could not less bothered about Batman, which is a shame because Michael Keaton is brilliant both as Bruce Wayne and his nut job alter-ego.  Of course both look great but Burton’s love of the villains unbalances the films to such an extent that you end up just watching ideas and a few good bits rather than a satisfying whole.

I used to be a big fan of these films.

Some things are best left in the past.

I won’t be revisiting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) any time soon.  My 10 year old self couldn’t take the disappointment.
